Please join us for a wonderful opportunity to observe masterclasses led by Felicity Lipman (see below for a brief biography)*
Part One: three individual master classes with selected pupils, from books 4-7
Part Two: an open invitation to participate in a group masterclass with Felicity
Watching Felicity teach will be an inspiration for all and will also help to prepare students for the Gala Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Teachers of the South Downs Suzuki Group
*Felicity Lipman
Felicity became the first European graduate from TERI (Talent Education Research Institute, in Matsumoto, Japan) in 1977. At Dr Suzuki’s request she founded ESA and BSI – with other key European colleagues – forming the first Suzuki teacher training courses in Europe. Felicity has taught at nearly every Suzuki Method World Convention and European Suzuki Method Conference and she continues to work worldwide with teachers and children. Felicity studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Hugh Maguire and later with Yossi Zivoni and toured extensively as leader of the Linley String Quartet and Rasoumovsky Quartet. Felicity was professor of violin at Junior Guildhall for 28 years, heading their chamber music department for twelve years as well as teaching at Purcell School.
