Suzuki teachers Kate Leek, Sarah Nolan and Mallory Gildersleeve are running an afternoon Workshop and Playtogether and we warmly invite you to come along.

It will be held at the Subud Centre, 1 Talbot Terrace, Lewes BN7 2DS on Saturday July 13th from 1.45pm til 5pm (arrive 1.30pm)

The course is applicable for Book1 to Book 5 Suzuki violin students. There will be group lessons with different teachers and the afternoon will culminate with an informal Playtogether of all the Repertoire listed below and prepared for the Workshop.

The cost is £30 for the first child and if more than one sibling, £20 per child. Deadline for applications, BH Monday 27th May. Parents will be expected to accompany their children at all times. To tailor make the best course for your child, the sooner we get applications the better.

Book 2, Judas, Hunters Chorus, Long, Long ago in G, Two Grenadiers, Witches Dance, Lully Gavotte
Book 3, Gavotte in G minor, Two Gavottes, Bach
Book 4, Seitz 2 (Book 4, second piece, D major), Moto Perpetuo,
Book 5, Vivaldi G minor concerto, slow movement

For those of you visiting Lewes and the Subud Centre for the first time, parking is on the road, payable, and also in Brook Street car park, less than 5 minutes walk away. Opposite the Centre is Pells Pond, Pells Pool (if you want to cool off with a swim in one of the country’s oldest outside Victorian pools, do book) and a lovely playground. There is plenty to do in Lewes!
