Just before the AGM, from 6:45pm, we are delighted to welcome Paule Barsalou and Christie Zimmer with our annual lecture, entitled "Using Reflection to Make Practicing Easier":

Description:

Join this dynamic teacher and parent team for an in-depth discussion of their use of reflective note taking during lessons and home practicing to transform frustration and resistance into curiosity and purposeful learning.

During this presentation, we’ll answer your practice questions, including:

·         How to get kids excited about practicing.
·         How to understand and address resistance.
·         How to motivate children to practice when they don’t want to.
·         What to do when you and your child are stuck, bored, or frustrated.
