For rehearsals, Playtogethers and the National workshop, we are delighted to have secured the Royal College of Music, a beautiful and prestigious conservatoire which is right next to the Royal Albert Hall. Opened in 1883 by the then Prince of Wales, the RCM has been at the centre of the world of music for over a century, training composers such as Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Benjamin Britten as well as many conductors and soloists of international repute. King Charles III is a patron and regular visitor to the College. You can feel the thrill and history of music-making walking through its performance spaces, its practice rooms café and courtyard. We hope this venue will prove to be inspirational and unforgettable for both students and parents alike. Details on the National Workshop, which will take place in the days before the Royal Albert Hall Gala, will be publicised soon.
