On Sunday 9th April 2023, 1.300 children will perform at the Royal Albert Hall a repertoire from Bach to Bartok and Mozart to Mendelssohn in the Gala Concert of the British Suzuki Music Association. These young virtuosi from the UK and beyond play violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, recorder or piano and have memorised the entire programme, including music composed especially for this occasion by TK Murray.

For these children from over 24 countries music is the common language in a concert that celebrates the power to bring people together. The performers learn with the Suzuki Method, which is based on the understanding that every child can become a wonderful musician in the same way as they can learn their mother tongue.
